Kroger, located in Ohio, at 1350 N. High St., this retail store is designed by Cincinnati-based CR architecture + design and a DEES (Designed to Earn Energy Star) Building. The building itself is considered as an energy efficient one and its standard HVAC design is about 35 percent more efficient than the standard. This store is replacing the old Kruger store that located on the same spot. With the area of 36,000 sq ft, the store is designed as a new Kruger store and an additional parking space.

The liquor store is divided from the grocery store and they each has a separate entrance. The finishing of the interior are using carpet adhesives, epoxy flooring and the paints are low VOC. Big windows and skylights are used to let the natural light brighten the interior of the store and give another efficiency. Found this retail store design via here.
