Chicago Sports Depot Retail Store Design |
Located near U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago, this retail store made a grand opening on Nov 2011. With the area of 12.000 square feet, this store made by a collaboration with Buffalo, N.Y. and Chicago White Sox as project designer and interior architect. The general contractor was McHugh Construction that was based in Chicago.

Some decorative elements were placed here. Large wall graphics of former and current star players, reproductions of newspaper to create an atmosphere of excitement of the former championships. 75 video monitors are used as a promotional media to display the products and a media to play the related sport video.

A glass elevator allows the customers to see the monitors from any good spots in the store. The floor is made of a combination of concrete and epoxy to create a glossy finish so it may be durable and gives an easy maintenance. White baseball stitching details on the floor is made of vinyl template and give a special look on it.
