The bookshelves are bright glossy red, combined with a natural wood floor finish, and a bright white ceiling.

Kubrick Bookshop and Cafe Design

Located next to Broadway Cinematheque, the Kubrick Bookshop and Cafe has a contemporary concept design by One Plus Partnership. The store interior is dominated with grey, lime green, and a natural wood finish. The color selected is based of the "Five Elements" cpncept from a Chinese tradition. The green color also means about green living, and the wood finish speaks about the main material of paper itself.

Livraria da Vila an iconic bookstore of Sao Paolo

What kind of impression do you get when seeing this bookstore from down the street of Sao Paolo? Some rotating bookshelves serves as a display and  room divider from outside and inside store. Inside, bookshelves filled the interior walls, even to stair walls and void walls that connect the upper and the floor underneath.
